Stabilisation Splints

Grinding teeth, jaw ache, headaches or migraines?. Many patients are treated with medications to ease these problems and aid relaxation but are temporary solutions as they are treating the symptoms and quite often not the cause of the problem. Many cases of headaches, migraine, shoulder pain, painful jaw joints, fillings which keep breaking, crowns which keep falling out can be diagnosed as occlusal problems (occlusion: is the way that our teeth meet and slide against each other) and can be treated with specially made splints (hard mouth guards) which fit over the biting surfaces (upper or lower) of the teeth and aid muscle relaxation so reducing the need for medicated relief.
